I am passionate about wedding photography and it has become my professional quest to document people’s emotions in extraordinary pictures. Moving incidents are particularly abundant at weddings.
Not only does it enable me to photograph the wedding couple with family and friends, it also gives me the opportunity to accompany them through the important day in a spontaneous and intuitive manner. This allows me to combine my personal motivation with a professional quest for high-quality pictures. Wedding photography continues to provide me with positive challenges, as the diversity of locations demands a great deal of professional flexibility.
Numerous positive reactions from wedding couples attest to the fact that I am on the right track.
A wedding is always comprised of a string of special moments, which all have slightly different qualities. I enjoy the quiet moments during the wedding ceremony, which are emotionally charged for the wedding couple, their family and their friends, a much as the boisterous high jinks at the wedding reception, later in the evening.
Report-style photography is obviously more prominent because I spend the day experiencing the occasion together with the wedding couple, their family and friends. However, this does mean that the portrait photography is entirely neglected.
I do not photograph the wedding couple in static positions. My pictures are the products of spontaneous actions and are taken, with a good deal of enthusiasm, at exactly at the right moment. I consider it to be my professional duty to recognise the right moments and to translate them into aesthetically gratifying pictures.
I am interested in report and documentary photography. This kind of photography not only demands a high level of technical proficiency but also requires a sense of intuitive behaviour and the capacity to take action at exactly the right moment. These skills are not only necessary in difficult situations, however, they can also be put to good use where people come together to celebrate a joyful event. Moreover, I am always happy to cover the proceedings -- passionately and professionally.

"Photography is the ingenuous story of a twenties second, only a short instant of life and experiencing – capturing the unrecoverable moments of human being and let these memories become alive – again and again "
